Nellie's "Vintage Extravaganza" 2016

We're over the moon excited! Nellie's Vintage Extravaganza has been chosen by Romantic Country magazine as one of the "Best Fall Fleas & Tent Events" in this month's issue. It will be on newsstands at the end of September. I buy mine at Barnes & Noble.

Nellie's Vintage Extravaganza--13th year of hosting events.

Our fall 2016 event has a line up of over 55 vendors peddling the best in vintage swag, live music all day and food trucks! Shoppers love our event because every vendor's product line has a vintage component. You won't find perfume dealers, big lot close outs or cheesy crafts at Nellie's! Just fabulous vintage, repurposed furniture, shabby and cottage decor, architectural salvage, industrial and boho styles and cool jewelry. If you can't attend on the first day...no worries...our vendors completely restock for Saturday...so you'll still "get the good stuff" on Saturday!

Find the list of vendors here with a link to their facebook page!

The sale is Friday and Saturday, October 7 & 8, 2016 in a two acre field at 10985 Main Street in Roscoe, IL. Look for the red farm house (Meyer's Canine Colony)...the event is held on the property and in the back field. In addition to great vintage, we have live music all day. The current line up includes Lone Canary, Ron Rawhoof, Andrew Robinson, Ryan Bielefeldt, Kipster & Sisters, and Thinking Aloud.

You won't get hungry either! Primetime Towne Fryer will make your mouth water with their juicy stuffed burgers and Jacked Up Chicken Melts! Or, satisfy your fair food cravings at Frybabies trailer where you'll find Fry Bread Tacos, Apple Pie, Onion Rings and Sweet Tea! Yolo's Sweets is serving up apple cider donuts, cupcakes and hot coffee! Of course on your way in or way out, stop by the Roscoe Boy Scout Troop 620's Kettle Korn booth for a bag of the best Kettle Korn around...sold in dozens of flavors like Peppered Bacon, Tutti Fruti, Green Apple, Chicago Mix and of course Caramel.

In case you've never been to our hip event...here's a link to last year's photos...or view the video below.

Congratulations on the magazine article! Well deserved recognition. I hope to make it this year, I do an event in our town that started on our farm, 21 years ago. The event is always the 2nd Sat. in Oct. so this year I can finally come down to yours.
