The barn door closes for the year...

Well, another year of Nellie's Barn Sales has ended, all the dust has settled, and the paint and glitter is finally wearing off my hands! After cleaning, sanding, painting, distressing and waxing 40-50 pieces of furniture, I'm ready for a rest. But not before I think all of you who helped make it a success. You came and conquered! All of my furniture is gone, and another vendor sold all of hers. The other vendors did very well too. We hope you all took home a treasure for your home that you will cherish. We'll all be busy over the next six months gathering more vintage goods to do it all over again!
Judy Holley, The Empty Attic, my long time friend joined me this time with fun Halloween decor.
This is the view of my street as you approached my house! Total traffic jam, cars everywhere!
Entrance from the front of the house--the entire driveway was full, the garage and the yard!
My back yard where the vendors are--lovely fall day, breezy but nice.
New vendor, Lillyan Lou, had darling hair accessories, pins, rings, and home decor.
Kevin Baker was a popular addition this year...he entertained us for two hours on Friday morning.
Serendipity's fabulous Christmas decor--she made all the ornaments on the tree!
Polly's Counting Your Blessings tent was a huge hit--fun items full of lace and burlap!
Tom the Pumpkin Man was another new addition this year--he sold out of most pumpkins!
Laura from B and B's Nest sold every piece of furniture except one rocker!
Polly's mom, Kay, joined us this year--she had bins full of vintage linens and textiles--fun to rummage through!
Polly's booth--lovely shabby chic decor with a touch of farm chic.
Chicken crates, burlap and creamy white furniture--love it.
More fun shabby and romantic chic from Polly.
 Fun lamps, jewelry and decor!
Laura came with three desks, and left with none!
More fabulous furniture by B and B's Nest in Madison.
